Pratapgarh on the way of Development
In the leadership of Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje ‘Come together’ realize the slogan state government continues to strive with the downright development of the District. From the last 13 December during the one year term of the state government Pratapgarh boosted the progress and development works. Of various development schemes operated by the state government the work of permanent value has been started.
Public Works Department
The current government has sanctioned the act of 10 million for roads, of which 15.18 million has been spent in the approved budget of 919.20 million. Roads development work at Gendher, Kolvi mandir from Pillu, Sanchai form Jhasari, Bhavgarh from Vanpur etc. of Assembly Area Pratapgarh and Pratapgarh bypass road will be launched shortly. Trible sub-area development programme 100 bed Ashram has been approved. The current Government has approved rural distinction path at 35 gram panchayats in the district. Under which Length of C.C. Road should be about 34.10 Km. In 2014 Central Government approved the budget of 5-crore for Pratapgarh bypass.
Public Health & Engineering Department
In the Pratapgarh assembly constituency 437 and Badisaddri assembly constituency 117 drinking water plan survey from the Jakam dam for villages and 254.04 lakh has been issued for detailed project plan report. Work is on the progress. For the 4 drinking water projects of pratapgarh (Datiyar, Pandawa, Gamada and Mehandikheda) amount of 309.23 Lakh rupees has been sanctioned and tenders have been invited. Work was proposed to accomplish in the September 2015. For the project Inton ka talab 189.07 lakh rupees approval was received and the work order has been issued. Work was proposed to finish at the end of September 2015. In the villages / schools at various places where drinking water problems found in the district total 438.17 lakh rupees have approved for handpumps. At present 84 Handpumps have been set ups. Remains handpumps was proposed to setup before June 2015.
In the present Government 3 of the works has been performed completely from the currently approved of 6 functions (Construction of wells and pipeline to replace the old pipeline) and remaining 3 tasks that come under Panghat Plan and revitalization of the pond, is under process.
5 Action Plan is concerned with the new hand pump figure and Panghat Plan, 7.50 million has been spent from the budget of 118.36 million allocated and one of the task has completed and the remaining work is in progress.
Under Bhamashah scheme, the total number of 337 camps were conducted till January 31, 2015, and a total of 2,17,714 nominations have been enrolled of 63,292 families, and 37,395 bank accounts are opened in camps.
